There is an urgent need for a point-of-care testing (POCT) method in developing and underserved regions to distinguish between two Monkeypox virus (MPXV) clades, given their varying transmissibility and clinical manifestations. In this paper, we target the specific complement protein gene fragment of two MPXV clades and construct a high-performance upconversion nanoparticles-based lateral flow assay (UCNPs-based LFA) with double T-lines and a shared C-line. This enables qualitative and quantitative dual-mode detection when combined with a smartphone and a benchtop fluorescence analyzer.

It is necessary to explore the effects of different conductive polymers in electrode composites. Herein, we prepare zinc sulfide/reduced graphene oxide (ZnS/RGO) by the hydrothermal method, and conductive polymers (PANI, PPy, PTh and PEDOT) doped with the same mass ratio (polymer to 70 wt%) polymerization on the surface of ZnS/RGO composite.

The total exopolysaccharides (EPS) were prepared from reconstituted skim milk fermentation by RS20D, and purified through DEAE-Sepharose CL-6B and Sephadex G-100, and consequently the purified fraction designated as RS-r2 was obtained. The further work aimed to elucidate the structural features of RS-r2 via FT-IR spectrum, HPSEC and monosaccharide composition analysis was carried out.

An inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) for determination of the contents of six elements, Cd, Cr, Pb, Zn, Cu and Ni in drinking water has been developed in the present work. The operating parameters were optimized. 45Sc, 72Ge, 115In and 209Bi were chosen as the internal elements and the effect of matrix, interface and fluctuation of instrument was overcome effectively.
