Recent advances in understanding the modulatory functions of gut and gut microbiota on human diseases facilitated our focused attention on the contribution of the gut to the pathophysiological alterations of many extraintestinal organs, including the liver, heart, brain, lungs, kidneys, bone, skin, reproductive, and endocrine systems. In this review, we applied the "gut-X axis" concept to describe the linkages between the gut and other organs and discussed the latest findings related to the "gut-X axis," including the underlying modulatory mechanisms and potential clinical intervention strategies.

However, the underlying mechanisms of hepatocyte-specific immunosurveillance and age-dependent HBV clearance remain unclear. Objectives: Tigger transposable element-derived 1 (TIGD1) expression and its underlying functions and regulatory mechanisms in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) remain unknown. Therefore, we intended to explore the expression, potential functions, and regulatory mechanisms of TIGD1 in LUAD.
Materials And Methods: TIGD1 expression in LUAD tissues was determined by immunohistochemistry analysis of a tissue microarray.
Background: Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) patients are reported to have a potential risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD); however, HCM with left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction, which is regarded as a risk indicator of SCD, is doubtful since the LVOT gradient is dynamic and may be confounded by various environmental factors and routine activities. The purpose of this study was to explore the clinical prognosis of HOCM through a multicenter cohort study with data-driven propensity score matching (PSM) analysis.
Methods: The cohort included 2268 patients with HCM from 1996 to 2021 in 13 tertiary hospitals.

Herein, reversible deactivation radical polymerization was demonstrated to offer a gradient copolymer (GCP) architecture with controlled heterogeneities, which combines hard segment and flexible segment.
