This study aims to determine the drug concentration of etomidate, remifentanil, and rocuronium bromide for general anesthesia in fetus as well as the placental transport rate between term and preterm delivery, twins, and singleton. Sixty parturients with 72 fetuses undergoing cesarean section under general anesthesia were included. According to whether the fetus was a twin or premature, parturients were divided into Group I (term singleton), Group II (premature singleton), Group III (term twins), and Group IV (premature twins).

The aim of the present study was to examine the interactions between SPRY4‑IT1 and its downstream effectors, to determine if any of the interactions contributed to SPRY4‑IT1‑mediated proliferation, migration and invasion in cancer cells. A signalling cascade which involved SPRY4‑IT1, miR‑101 and zinc finger E‑box‑binding homeoboxes (ZEBs) was examined in the present study.

Methods: From March 2012 to December 2015, 48 patients with Sanders II-IV fractures of calcaneus were treated by open reduction and internal fixation through L-shape incision, bone grafting were performed on reserved bone defect of calcaneal fracture. The patients were divided into self-setting calcium phosphate cement and allograft group according to different materials.
In the present study, we detected the level of oligomeric form of α-synuclein in the red blood cells of ischemic stroke, Parkinson's disease, and normal people and compared the differences to assess the diagnosis potential of α-synuclein in ischemic stroke patients. 86 ischemic stroke, 100 PD, and 102 healthy cases were enrolled in the present study. Total protein amount in the red blood cells were quantified by BCA assay using spectrophotometer.

Objective: To explore the clinical effects of transforaminal endoscopic spine system in surgical revision of lumbar vertebrae.
Methods: From January 2012 to October 2013,14 patients who needed reoperations of lumbar vertebrae were treated using transforaminal endoscopic spine system (TESSYS). There were 8 males and 6 males, aged from 27 to 84 years old with an average of (50.
Gene therapy is a promising new treatment strategy for common joint-disorders such as osteoarthritis. The development of safe, effective, targeted non-viral gene carriers is important for the clinical success of gene therapy. The present work describes the use of hybrid hyaluronic acid (HA)/chitosan (CS) nanoparticles as novel non-viral gene delivery vectors capable of transferring exogenous genes into primary chondrocytes for the treatment of joint diseases.

Their structures were confirmed by elemental analysis, IR, MS and (1)H NMR. Results of preliminary antifungal tests against eight human pathogenic fungi (Candida albicans, Candida parapsilosis, Candida tropicalis, Cryptococcus neoformans, Aspergillus fumigatus, Trichophyton rubrum, Fonsecaea compacta, and Microsporum gypseum) in vitro showed that all title compounds exhibited activity against fungi tested to some extent.

Aim: To investigate the effects of hypoxia on the proliferation of mouse embryonic stem cells (mouse ES cells) in vitro.
Methods: We observed the proliferation of ES cells by hematometery and BrdU-labeled flow cytometry (FCM), and we also detected the expression of hypoxia inducible factor-1a (HIF-1a) by RT-PCR.
Results: (1) The number of ES cells after culturing in the hypoxia environment (3% O2 and 10% O2) for 24 hours were lesser than those in normoxia (20% O2).
