Methods: For this cross-sectional study, 76 outpatients with BD, 86 outpatients with MDD and 70 healthy controls (HCs) were enrolled. Sociodemographic and clinical data were collected.
Background: As research on the use of mobile technology to deliver mental health support grows, the research from China is still very limited. How to design an acceptable and usable mobile mental health service model suitable for China's social and cultural environment remains to be studied.
Objective: To understand the acceptability and usability of a WeChat-based intervention among Chinese patients with depression, and to provide insights to promote future development of user-centered mobile mental health services design.
Ovarian cancer, marked by high rate of recurrence, novel therapeutic strategies are needed to improve patient outcome. One of the potential strategies is inducing ferroptosis in ovarian cancer cells. Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent, lipid peroxidation-driven mode of cell death primarily occurring on the cell membrane.

Fifty-four patients with acute leukemia who underwent allo-HSCT were divided into two groups according to their serum magnesium levels before transplantation. The results showed that serum magnesium level is an independent factor influencing the prognosis of patients undergoing allo-HSCT.

Methods: By field investigation and a series of laboratory assays, This study explored the defense strategies of invasive plants.
Results: Field investigation indicated that invasive plants have a antifeedant effect on herbivorous pests, and the distribution frequency of wormholes of native plants shows a peak at a distance of 2-3 m from the invasive species.
Objective: To compare whether there is a difference in the efficacy of complete endoscopic microvascular decompression (EVD) and microscopic microvascular decompression (MVD) in patients with classical trigeminal neuralgia (CTN).
Methods: From January 2014 to January 2021, 297 CTN patients were assigned to the retrosigmoid approach EVD (138 cases) and the MVD groups (159 cases); to compare whether there are differences in the pain control rate, recurrence, complications of CTN patients between the 2operations, and separately predict the factors related to prognosis of both groups.
Results: There was no significant difference in painless rates at 1, 3, and 5 years after surgery (P = 0.
The high prevalence of cancer and detrimental side effects associated with many cancer treatments necessitate the search for effective alternative therapies. Natural products are increasingly being recognized and investigated for their potential therapeutic benefits. Scutellaria barbata D.

Leukocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin (L-PRF) is a second-generation autologous platelet-rich plasma. This study aims to investigate the clinical effects of L-PRF in patients with diabetes in real clinical practice.

This study was dedicated to investigating the glucolipid and reproductive hormone levels of female patients, and to preliminarily investigating their relationships with cognition.
Methods: A total of 58 unmedicated female BD patients, 61 stable-medicated female BD patients, and 63 healthy controls (HC) were recruited in this study.
The Changjinghuang Railway Xinjiang Xizhi Bridge is a (90 + 180 + 90) m continuous beam arch bridge, and the arch rib steel pipe installation adopts "short bracket assembly and overall lifting method". In order to ensure the accuracy of closure, the stress and deformation of the arch rib and bracket must be strictly controlled. Midas Civil is used to establish the finite element model to simulate the overall lifting construction process of the arch rib.

The actual targets and functioning mechanism of these effectors largely remain unexplored. This study illuminates the role and interplay of the Meloidogyne javanica nematode effector ROS suppressor (Mj-NEROSs) within the host plant environment.

A total of 186 adult patients with schizophrenia were enrolled and randomised into the pharmacogenetic (PGx) intervention group and the standard care group. In the PGx intervention group, PGx testing was performed, and the medication regimen was adjusted according to the results of the pharmacogenomic analysis.

In recent years, basic experiments have associated the pathophysiological mechanism of BD is related to mitochondrial dysfunction, but few clinical studies have confirmed this finding.
Object: The present study aimed to evaluate whether plasma circulating cell-free mitochondrial DNA (ccf-mtDNA) levels, which can represent the degree of mitochondrial damage in vivo, are altered in patients with BD in early onset and during treatment compared with controls.
Personal privacy protection has been extensively investigated. The privacy protection of face recognition applications combines face privacy protection with face recognition. Traditional face privacy-protection methods encrypt or perturb facial images for protection.

Patients And Methods: A total of 140 male patients diagnosed with schizophrenia who were treated with any single atypical antipsychotic between May 2020 and May 2022 were retrospectively included. Clinical symptoms were assessed using Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS).
Background: A growing body of data shows that schizophrenia (SCZ) and bipolar disorder (BD) have substantial metabolic risks; however, few studies have focused on bone metabolism. This study aimed to assess the prevalence and associated influencing factors of low bone mass and osteoporosis in SCZ and BD before pharmacological effects occur.
Methods: 108 healthy controls (HCs) and drug-naïve individuals with SCZ (n = 56) and BD (n = 130) had their lumbar spine (L1-L4) and left femur (Neck/Trochanter/Ward's triangle) bone mineral density (BMD) determined using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry.
Background: The benefits of early use of norepinephrine in endotoxemic shock remain unknown. We aimed to elucidate the effects of different doses of norepinephrine in early-stage endotoxemic shock using a clinically relevant large animal model.
Methods: Vasodilatory shock was induced by endotoxin bolus in 30 Bama suckling pigs.
It is of great value to explore the evolution and dynamic mechanism of land use classification systems, such as improving the current classification system and providing guidance for scientific land use methodologies. In this study, the evolution process of land use classification systems in China is analyzed, the characteristics of which in terms of content-form, the urban-rural land use relationship and land functionality are compared, and the evolution mechanism of which is evaluated. The findings reveal that: (1) The land use classification systems in China have undergone a three-stage evolution process, comprising an initial "exploration stage", followed by an "improvement stage", culminating in a "maturity stage"; (2) The content and form of these systems exhibit distinct characteristics, marked by the refinement of construction land, stability in hierarchy, and an increase in the number of classifications.

The life cycle of insects is short and goes through 4 distinct stages including embryonic, larval, pupal, and adult stages. During postembryonic life, the larval brain transforms into a mature adult version after metamorphosis.
