Background: Rituximab combined with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin hydrochloride, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP) regimen has improved the survival of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) patients worldwide, compared with CHOP alone. Several limitations were seen in previous studies of Chinese DLBCL patients treated with R-CHOP or R-CHOP-like regimens. This study aimed to investigate the clinical characteristics and treatment outcomes of Chinese DLBCL patients treated with the standard first-line treatment.

Computational modeling is a commonly used technology in many scientific disciplines and has played a noticeable role in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. Modeling scientists conduct sensitivity analysis frequently to observe and monitor the behavior of a model during its development and deployment. The traditional algorithmic ranking of sensitivity of different parameters usually does not provide modeling scientists with sufficient information to understand the interactions between different parameters and model outputs, while modeling scientists need to observe a large number of model runs in order to gain actionable information for parameter optimization.

Throughout the course of evolution, bacteria have developed signal transduction tools such as two-component systems (TCSs) to meet their demands to thrive even under the most challenging environmental conditions. One TCS called MtrAB is commonly found in and is implicated in cell wall metabolism, osmoprotection, cell proliferation, antigen secretion, and biosynthesis of secondary metabolites. However, precisely how the MtrAB TCS regulates the bacterial responses to external environments remains unclear.

The construction and operation of China's rail transit system have entered a high-speed development stage, and the rapid increase of train speed and mileage has brought greater challenges to the safety and reliability of the rail transit system. Network planning evaluation is the key to the early decision-making of urban rail transit project, which directly determines the success or failure of the whole project. How to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the urban rail transit information resource network planning has become a difficult problem for many urban planners to solve.

Access to high-performance and cost-effective catalyst materials is one of the crucial preconditions for the industrial application of electrochemical CO reduction (ECR). In this work, a facile and simple strategy is proposed for the construction of a free-standing electrocatalyst via confining a superbase and hydrophobic ionic liquid (IL, [P][triz]) into Ni foam pores, denoted as [P][triz]@Ni foam. These ILs can modulate the surface of Ni foam and create a microenvironment with high CO concentration around the electrode/electrolyte interface, which successfully suppresses the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) of Ni foam.

Purpose: Schizophrenia is a severe, chronic condition accounting for disproportionate healthcare utilization. Antipsychotics can reduce relapse rates, but the characteristics of schizophrenia may hinder medication adherence. A phase 3b open-label clinical trial used aripiprazole tablets with sensor (AS; includes pills with ingestible event-marker, wearable sensor patches and smartphone application) in adults with schizophrenia.

Purpose: A recent, phase 3b, mirror-image clinical trial of outpatients with schizophrenia found that use of aripiprazole tablets with sensor (AS; Abilify MyCite, comprising an ingestible event-marker sensor embedded in aripiprazole tablets, wearable sensor patches, and a smartphone application) reduced the incidence of psychiatric hospitalizations relative to oral standard-of-care antipsychotics. This analysis explored the relationship between AS engagement by participants and changes in participant performance and symptom-severity measures assessed by clinical raters.

Participants And Methods: This post hoc analysis used prospectively collected clinical data from a phase 3b clinical trial (NCT03892889).
