Background: metaplastic breast carcinoma (MBC) is uncommon, characterized by a heterogeneous mixture of histologic characteristics.
Objective: evaluate clinical and pathological characteristics in a population of patients with MBC in a reference center.
Materials And Methods: retrospective analysis of cases diagnosed with MBC at INCAN database from 2005-2011 was performed.

Objective: To compare the short-term morbidity of infants born at term (37 0/7-41 0/7 weeks gestational age) of low-risk pregnancies with newborns in the late preterm period (34 0/7 to 36 6/7 weeks gestational age) of low-risk pregnancies.
