A case report of encephalitis induced by SARS-CoV-2 confirmed by etiology: first case in Qingdao, China.

The neurological manifestations of SARS-CoV-2-infected patients are receiving increasing attention with the global spread of SARS-CoV-2. Here, we report the first case of SARS-CoV-2-induced encephalitis in Qingdao, China. We detected SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal swabs and cerebrospinal fluid from this 68-year-old female patient.

Quantification of in vivo gastric fluid volume in Bama miniature pigs in fasted state.

Although the study of bioequivalence waivers in humans is already well-established, their application and translation into animals, which are complicated by differences in physiology, have only recently become subjects of interest. The main purpose of this paper is to quantify the liquid volume affecting drug dissolution in pig stomachs. We used magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to scan 18 Bama miniature pigs weighing 15, 30 or 50 kg.

[Model-based FTIR reflectometry measurement system for deep trench structures of DRAM].

A method and system for measuring deep trench structures of dynamic random access memory (DRAM) based on Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) reflectometry is proposed. The principle of the measurement system is presented, along with a detailed description of the optical path design. By regulating the slit aperture to decrease the size of the detection spot and optimizing the incidence angle onto the wafer, the reflection from the backside of the wafer is suppressed, thus the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the measurement is increased significantly.
