Functional characterization of D-type cyclins involved in cell division in rice.

Background: D-type cyclins (CYCD) regulate the cell cycle G/S transition and are thus closely involved in cell cycle progression. However, little is known about their functions in rice.

Results: We identified 14 CYCD genes in the rice genome and confirmed the presence of characteristic cyclin domains in each.

Changes in Serum Prealbumin and Incision Complications Following Spinal Tuberculosis Surgery: A Preliminary Study.

Objectives: To explore the trend of changes in the serum prealbumin (PA) level in patients with spinal tuberculosis during the perioperative period and its relationship with postoperative incision complications.

Methods: A retrospective study was performed by enrolling 162 patients (82 men and 80 women) with spinal tuberculosis who had been admitted to the Tianjin Haihe Hospital from June 2013 to June 2017. The included patients were then assigned to the elderly group (≥65 years of age, n = 35) and the non-elderly group (<65 years of age, n = 127).

Nursing and safety of silver needle diathermy treating ankylosing spondylitis.

This paper aims to discuss the nursing and safety of silver needle diathermy in the treatment for ankylosing spondylitis. We nursed 46 patients with ankylosing spondylitis treated with silver needle diathermy. Specific nursing was focused on physical condition evaluation and mental nursing before treatment, observation during and after treatment, diet nursing, needle eye nursing, functional training and propaganda and education when discharged.
