The relationship between changes in vitamin A, vitamin E, and oxidative stress levels, and pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.

Background: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is one of the most common complications during pregnancy. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the changes in vitamin A, vitamin E, and oxidative stress levels, and pregnancy outcomes in GDM patients.

Methods: A total of 104 GDM patients admitted to our hospital between January 2018 and January 2019 were selected as the study group, and 126 pregnant women who received healthy examinations in the same hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.

[Effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation on recovery of gastrointestinal function after cesarean section].

Objective: To explore the effect on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after cesarean section treated with transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation at Zusanli (ST 36) on the basis of routine treatment.

Methods: A total of 110 primiparas after cesarean section were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 55 cases in each one. The conventional treatment was applied in the two groups, after operation, transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation at Zusanli (ST 36) was used immediately in the observation group, the skin electrode of disposable anti-magnetic buckle was attached to Zusanli (ST 36) and the corresponding part of the inner lower leg, with disperse-dense wave, 30 Hz/60 Hz and 15-20 mA.

Analysis of the efficacy of resveratrol treatment in patients with scarred uterus.

Scarred uterus is caused by cesarean section surgery, and this condition affects further gestation and delivery in patients. Previous evidence suggested that resveratrol, a polyphenol compound, presents beneficial outcomes for patients with scarred uterus. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to analyze the efficacy of resveratrol in the treatment of patients with scarred uterus.
