Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Taraxasterol was isolated from the Chinese medicinal herb Taraxacum officinale which has been frequently used as a remedy for inflammatory diseases. Our previous study has shown that taraxasterol inhibited lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production in RAW 264.7 macrophages.

Taraxasterol, a pentacyclic-triterpene, was isolated from the Chinese medicinal herb Taraxacum officinale. In the present study, we investigated the protective effect of taraxasterol on murine model of endotoxic shock and the mechanism of its action. Mice were treated with 2.

In the present study, we determined the in vivo protective effect of taraxasterol on allergic asthma induced by ovalbumin (OVA) in mice.
Materials And Methods: Mice were sensitized and challenged with OVA, and were orally treated daily with taraxasterol at 2.
Aim Of The Study: Taraxasterol, a pentacyclic-triterpene, was isolated from the Chinese medicinal herb Taraxacum officinale. In the present study, we investigated the in vitro anti-inflammatory activity of taraxasterol in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW 264.7 murine macrophages.

In this study, we investigated the effects of florfenicol on nitric oxide (NO) and prostaglandin E₂ (PGE₂) production as well as on inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) expression in LPS-stimulated murine RAW 264.7 macrophages.

Florfenicol, an antibiotic used to treat infection, has previously been shown to modulate early cytokine responses and increase mouse survival in endotoxemia. In the present study, we investigated in vivo the effect of florfenicol on acute lung injury (ALI) induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). In the mouse model of LPS-induced inflammatory lung injury, we found that pretreatment with a single 100mg/kg dose of florfenicol significantly decreases the W/D ratio of lungs and protein concentration in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) and significantly reduces the number of total cells, neutrophils and macrophages in the BALF at 24h after LPS challenge.

We studied the in vitro anti-inflammatory effects of valnemulin and associated signal transduction mechanisms in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages.
