Soil organic carbon (SOC) fractions are vital intrinsic indicators of SOC stability, and soil fungi are the key drivers of soil carbon cycling. However, variations in SOC fractions along an elevational gradient in mountain meadows and the role of the fungal community in regulating these variations are largely unknown, especially in subtropical areas. In this study, an elevation gradient experiment (with experimental sites at 1500, 1700, and 1900 m) was set up in a community in a meadow on Wugong Mountain, Southeast China, to clarify the effects of elevation on soil fungal community composition, microbial residue carbon, and SOC fractions.

In order to investigate the protective effect of tanshinone ⅡA sulfonate on the sciatic nerve activty in rats after cryopreservation as well as the nerve regeneration and functional recovery after allograft and its possible mechanism, Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were divded into four groups at different doses of tanshinone ⅡA sulfonate (A 0 mg·L⁻¹, B 80 mg·L⁻¹, C 160 mg·L⁻¹, D 480 mg·L⁻¹) cryopreserved at -80 °C for 24 weeks. Fresh control group nerve segments were harvested without cryopreservation. The ultrastructure and the viable cells of the nerve segments after cryopreservation were observed by electron microscopy, calcein-AM/propidium iodide staining, respectively.

We analyze the existence of non-uniformity at the boundary of turbid media, and develop a gradient complex refractive index multilayered model in terms of this fact. Our model reveals the physics mechanism of the discrepancies between experimental data above the critical angle and the fitting curve with Fresnel's Formula. Also, from the perspective of the energy flow, reflectance R is obtained by the simplified models.
