Background: Protection against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) reinfection relies on immunity generated after primary infection. However, humoral immunity following primary infection with the Omicron variant is not well understood.

Methods: We prospectively recruited children <19 years with virologically-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection at National Cheng Kung University Hospital from February 2022 to September 2022 during the first wave of Omicron BA.

Background: The presence of vascular invasion is associated with poor survival in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). We compared the effectiveness of hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), alone or in combination, in patients with advanced HCC.

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records of adult patients with unresectable HCC and macrovascular invasion (MVI) who were treated with HAIC or ICIs alone or in combination at a single centre in Taiwan.

Protective behaviours of near work and time outdoors in myopia prevalence and progression in myopic children: a 2-year prospective population study.

Aim: To investigate the protective behaviours of longer near work distance, discontinuing near work and more time outdoors in recess from parent self-report in the myopia prevalence and progression among myopic children aged 9-11 years.

Methods: Myopia Investigation study in Taipei is a longitudinal population-based study that enrolled elementary school students in Taipei. We provided vision and refraction examination every 6 months.

Temporal availability of obstetrics and gynecology clinics in Taiwan: A nationwide survey.

Objective: Obstetrician-gynecologists are the main providers of women's healthcare. However, workforce shortages and excessive workloads among these providers have been encountered in many countries. While most past studies on this subject have investigated the spatial distribution of obstetrics-gynecology clinics, few have focused on their temporal availability, especially on the national level.
