Phosphate (PO) and ammonium (NH), two major components of the phosphorus and nitrogen cycles, respectively, play vital roles in aquatic ecosystems. Very few studies have reported methods for the simultaneous determination of PO and NH in seawater. Additionally, when ammonium molybdate solution was employed as a chromogenic reagent for the simultaneous determination of both PO and NH in a single analysis system, there was a possibility of cross-contamination.

The function of the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) is disrupted during early phase of PND. To gain insight into the mechanisms of PND, we collected mouse mPFC tissues 6 h post-surgery and performed RNA sequencing analysis.

Materials And Methods: The clinical and imaging data of 100 patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) who underwent CCTA and subsequently received successful CABG between December 2012 and March 2024 were retrospectively collected. According to the subsequent CCTA evaluation of grafts, they were categorized into occlusion group (n = 27) and patency group (n = 73).
Aim: To integrate experiences and perceptions about stroke survivors during the transition from hospital-to-home care.
Data Sources: Seven databases, including PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Ovid, Web of Science, EBSCO and MEDLINE, were searched comprehensively from inception to March 2024, including qualitative studies published in English.
Design: A qualitative systematic review.
Introduction: Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a common complication observed in aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH) patients, which significantly increases the survival risks and reduces the patient's quality of life. However, preventive clinical measures for DVT have not been standardized; therefore, the scientific basis and effectiveness of these measures require further validation.
Objective: This study aims to employ evidence-based practices to effectively prevent the occurrence of DVT in aSAH patients.
Integrin family transmembrane receptors mediate dynamic interactions between cells and their extracellular microenvironment. The heterogeneous interaction partners of integrins directly regulate cell adhesion, motility, proliferation, and intracellular signaling. Despite the recognized importance of protein-protein interactions and the formation of signaling hubs around integrins, the ability to detect and quantify these dynamic binding partners with high spatial and temporal resolution remains challenging.

Dynamic response of phytoplankton physiology is likely to come from interspecies interactions rather than direct climatic effect on single species. However, studies on enigmatic interactions among interspecies, which are induced by bioactive extracellular compounds (BECs), especially between related harmful algae sharing similar shellfish toxins, are scarce.

Seamounts are prominent features of the deep-sea topography, acting as breeding ground for marine animal calves and hotspots of pelagic biodiversity, yet MPs pollution in seamounts is scarcely studied. We investigated the MPs load in the whole vertical profile of seamount ambient water in the Subtropical Northwest Pacific Ocean.

Methods: Six databases (OVIDMEDLINE, OVIDEMBASE, OVID APA PsycINFO, Web of Science, Cochrane Central Registry of Controlled Trials, and EBSCO CINAHL Complete) were searched through January 2023. Research team members independently performed screening of abstracts and full texts, data abstraction, and risk assessment.

The Hg isotopic composition of seawater remains poorly constrained due to the lack of an efficient method to process large volumes of low-Hg-concentration seawater samples. Here, we develop a continuous flowdouble purge and trap device for the in situ preconcentration of Hg in seawater.

Methods: This was an observational longitudinal study. Mixed-effect models incorporating within-subject correlation were used to examine the relationship among the three key variables.
Aflatoxin is a potent mycotoxin and a common source of grain contamination that leads to great economic losses and health problems. Although distilled baijiu cannot be contaminated by aflatoxin, its presence in the brewing process affects the physiological activities of micro-organisms and reduces product quality. XSWW9 capable of degrading aflatoxin B (AFB) was isolated from daqu using coumarin as the sole carbon source.

However, ischemic stroke treatment is currently limited, with a narrow therapeutic window and unsatisfactory post-treatment outcomes. Therefore, it is critical to investigate the pathophysiological mechanisms following ischemic stroke brain injury.

The aims of this study were to describe their physical activity (PA) and sedentary behaviors (SB) patterns and to identify determinates of objectively-measured PA and SB among Chinese immigrants in the US with prior GDM. We conducted a cross-sectional study among 106 Chinese immigrants with prior GDM across the US.

The aim of this study was to investigate the sociodemographic (eg, location), clinical (eg, health care-seeking behaviors), and psychological (eg, active coping skills) factors associated with elevated depressive symptoms in Chinese women with GDM.
Methods: This was a secondary data analysis of a cross-sectional study among Chinese women with GDM.

As one of the most productive marine ecosystems in the tropics and subtropics, mangroves are an important part of the global mercury (Hg) cycling. The environmental processes and effects of Hg in mangroves are complex and affect human Hg exposure, and it is crucial to understand Hg behaviors in the mangrove ecosystem. However, clarifying Hg behaviors in the mangrove ecosystem remains difficult because of an insufficient understanding of the dominant pathways.

Complex 1 was used as a precursor to synthesize complexes 2 and 3, and 2 was further used to synthesize 3. Complex 1 is a mononuclear complex, in which the Dy(III) ion is in a nine-coordinated structure surrounded by three tridentate chelate HATB ligands.
