Antibacterial packaging holds promise in addressing food spoilage by inactivating bacteria, but current antimicrobial packaging solutions face challenges like depletion of antibacterials and concerns of antibiotic abuse. In response to these limitations of existing packaging materials, we developed a novel antibacterial packaging film by incorporating titanium dioxide (TiO)- tetra(4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin (TcPP) conjugates into cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) films. Unlike conventional antimicrobial packaging, this film harnesses visible light energy to excite electrons from TcPP to TiO, generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) that inactivate bacteria without relying on antibiotics.

Theare mimicked in a potential hybrid quantum system, involving two ensembles of solid-state spins coupled to a pair of interconnected surface-acoustic-wave cavities. With the assistance of dichromatic classical optical drives featuring chiral designs, it can simulate two-mode LMG-type long-range spin-spin interactions with left-right asymmetry. NH-UiO-66(Ti) and NH-MIL-125(Ti) were successfully prepared by using post-synthesis exchange (PSE) and hydrothermal methods, and then these frameworks were tested for photocatalytic hydrogen peroxide production in pure water under visible light. NH-MIL-125(Ti) exhibits superior activity compared to NH-UiO-66(Ti) due to its shorter Ti-O bond. In addition, NH-MIL-125-D (defective) demonstrates a high photocatalytic yield of hydrogen peroxide owing to the presence of defect-rich titanium rich sites.
