As a new type of crystalline porous polymer materials, covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with their unique features such as large surface area, tunable pore sizes, strong π-π stacking effect and size exclusion effects, have attracted wide attention in the analytical field. Due to the lack of catalytically active metal centers in bare COFs, functionalized COFs that are hybridized or modified with nanomaterials improve reactive activation and show better analytical performance for a variety of detection scenarios with complex analytes. Herein, we focused on the functionalized COFs used in bioanalysis ranging from nucleic acids, peptides, and proteins, to microorganisms, and discussed the functionalization strategy and unique structures and properties applied in the different stages of biosensing and advantages compared to other hybrid materials.

In the foxtail millet field, due to the dense distribution of the foxtail millet ears, morphological differences among foxtail millet ears, severe shading of stems and leaves, and complex background, it is difficult to identify the foxtail millet ears. To solve these practical problems, this study proposes a lightweight foxtail millet ear detection method based on improved YOLOv5. The improved model proposes to use the GhostNet module to optimize the model structure of the original YOLOv5, which can reduce the model parameters and the amount of calculation.

Background: Previous studies have shown that the levels of serum tumor markers CEA and CA19-9 were related to chemoradiotherapy. Therefore, it has been assumed that dynamic monitoring of these markers could predict the prognosis of stage II/III rectal cancer (RC). It is necessary to develop a transducer that can quickly detect the inner and outer wall defects of thick-walled pipes, in order to ensure the safety of such pipes. In this paper, a flexible broadband Rayleigh-waves comb transducer based on PZT (lead zirconate titanate) for defect detection of thick-walled pipes is studied. The multiple resonant coupling theory is used to expand the transducer broadband and the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) method is used to optimize transducer array element parameters.

The Atherton-Todd-type reaction of pentacoordinate hydrospirophosphoranes with amines was investigated, and a novel CO2 insertion reaction into the pentacoordinate P-N bond under mild conditions was developed. The mechanism and stereochemistry of the CO2 insertion reaction between hydrospirophosphoranes and secondary amines were proposed via a carbon-13 labeling experiment, a (31)P NMR tracing experiment, and X-ray diffraction analysis. The chlorinated spirophosphorane intermediate was first generated with stereoretention of the configuration at phosphorus and subsequently was attacked by a carbamate anion formed from CO2 and a secondary amine.

Fragmentation pathways of a series of pentacoordinated bisaminoacylspirophosphoranes were elucidated by electrospray ionization multistage mass spectrometry (ESI-MS(n)) in negative mode. The deprotonated ions of pentacoordinated bisaminoacylspirophosphoranes tend to eliminate a corresponding amino acid to form base peak. The hydrogen/deuterium exchange experiment, the high-resolution mass spectrometry, (13)C stable isotope labeling experiment and theoretical calculations were used to rationalize the proposed fragmentation pathways and to verify the differences between the fragmentation pathways.
