  • The analysis included 15 randomized controlled trials with 1236 patients and found that terlipressin combined with albumin had a significantly higher treatment response than placebo or albumin alone, while noradrenaline showed comparable effectiveness to terlipressin.
  • However, terlipressin did not demonstrate a survival advantage over either placebo or noradrenaline and was associated with a higher risk of treatment-related adverse events.
