A hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial of application-based tiered care (Mom's Good Mood) in treating perinatal anxiety within a primary health care system in China.

Introduction: Perinatal anxiety (PNA) is a major public health concern.

Methods: A hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial was conducted in two antenatal clinics in Hefei, China, to assess the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of application-based tiered care (Mom's Good Mood, MGM) in treating PNA and to understand how well it fits into routine practices. Pregnant women who scored at least 5 points on the 7-Item Generalised Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7) scale were successively assigned to the control group or the intervention group, which were given the usual care and MGM on usual care, respectively.

Shift work and menstruation: A meta-analysis study.

Background: Shift work is a potential risk factor for women's reproductive health. Evidence suggests that shift work is associated with menstrual disorders, reproductive disturbances, and adverse pregnancy outcomes. However, previous studies did not systematically examine the results of menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, and early menopause at the same time.

[Combined effect of active smoking history and passive smoking during pregnancy on postpartum depression and anxiety].

Objective: To explore the independent and combined effects of smoking and passive smoking during pregnancy on maternal depression, anxiety and depressive anxiety comorbidities.

Methods: From August 2020 to February 2022, women who underwent 42-day postpartum examination in Changfeng Women's Center and Shuangfeng Hospital of Hefei were recruited. Their depression and anxiety symptoms were assessed using EPDS Scale and GAD Scale, respectively, and smoking and passive smoking status during pregnancy were collected.

Data Sources And Study Eligibility Criteria: We conducted a systematic literature search for studies of child neurodevelopment and adult emotional disorders published in English up to April 2022 in the databases of PubMed, Web of Science and Embase using combinations of MeSH terms and Entry terms, and the articles were filtered out according to data availability.

Background: Stressful life events (SLEs) and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) have been reported to be associated with perinatal depression (PND) or perinatal anxiety (PNA) alone; however, in most cases, majority of PND and PNA coexist and could lead to more serious health consequences. As one kind of endocrine disrupting chemical, di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) has been reported to cause liver dysfunction in epidemiological and experimental studies. Abnormal liver function in pregnancy is associated with adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes. Few studies have investigated the potential effect of gestational DEHP exposure on the liver in pregnant mice, and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.
