The exploration of two-dimensional (2D) metallenes is driven by their noteworthy attributes, encompassing high conductivity and substantial exposure of metal active sites, facilitating the development of nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) electrocatalysts characterized by a low overpotential and superior selectivity.
