Background And Objectives: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have demonstrated significant potential in pain medicine research, including mechanisms, diagnosis, and therapy. However, no relative bibliometric analysis has been performed to summarize the progress in this area quantitatively.
Methods: Literature was retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection online database.
Background: Limited research exists on colorectal cancer (CRC) patients with bladder invasion, with survival outcomes post-cystectomy underexplored and a debate between partial and total cystectomy ongoing.
Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the effect of pathological bladder invasion on the long-term tumour prognosis of patients with clinically diagnosed bladder invasion in CRC after cystectomy.
Design: Retrospective, cohort study.
The progression and metastasis of colorectal cancer (CRC) remain major clinical challenges due to a lack of effective therapeutic targets. Our preliminary study identified the upregulation of the propionyl-CoA carboxylase alpha chain (PCCA) gene in CRC, prompting further investigation into its functional roles. Bioinformatics analysis, colorectal tumor tissues, and CRC cell lines were used to determine PCCA expression.

Our team innovatively implanted double-catheter IDDS to manage pain related to neck and abdominal cancer. While this may represent a new solution, the efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness remain unclear.

When peritoneal metastasis (PM) develops, diagnosing metastatic lesions is difficult and the prognosis is poor. This study aimed to compare the value of fluorine-18 fibroblast activation protein-specific inhibitor (F-FAPI-42) and fluorine-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) for detecting PM of colorectal cancer and to guide clinical decision-making.

This study aims to develop and validate a pathomics nomogram to predict liver metastasis in patients with stage III colorectal cancer.
Methods: A total of 318 enrolled patients were divided into three cohorts: a training cohort (n = 139), a validation cohort (n = 69), and an external cohort (n = 110).
Background: Consensus regarding the hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) for colorectal cancer (CRC) regimen remains elusive. In this study, patient-derived tumor organoids from CRC were utilized as a preclinical model for in vitro drug testing of HIPEC regimens commonly used in clinical practice. This approach was used to facilitate the clinical formulation of HIPEC.

However, the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) leads to a long scan time. Herein, we study the acceleration performance of parallel imaging (PI) and compressed sensing (CS) in different kspace sampling strategies at 0.

In the present study, we aimed to compare the effectiveness and safety of conventional radiofrequency (CRF) and high-voltage long-term pulsed radiofrequency (H-PRF) of radiofrequency therapy in the management of perineal pain in advanced rectal cancer.
Design: Randomized, Double-Blind Controlled Trial.
Objective: The efficacy of drug therapies in managing neuropathic pain is constrained by their limited effectiveness and potential for adverse effects. In contrast, exercise has emerged as a promising alternative for pain relief. In this study, we conducted a systematic evaluation of the therapeutic impact of exercise on neuropathic pain resulting from sciatic nerve injury in rodent models.

A precise and accurate size of the DLT is a prerequisite for ensuring its accurate placement. Three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction technology can be used to accurately reproduce tracheobronchial structures to improve the accuracy of DLT size selection.

However, the quantitative relationship between AS and collagen has not been defined. This study is to quantitatively analyze the collagen features in rectal cancer and explore the relationship between the changes of collagen and postoperative anastomotic stenosis after nCRT.

In the present study, a facile and effective approach using peptide-AIE nanofibers (NFs-K18) to create fluorescent-traceable antimicrobial sutures, which have been applied to four commercially available sutures is developed. The functionalized sutures of PGAS-NFs-K18 and PGLAS-NFs-K18 exhibit fluorescence with excellent penetration from 4 mm chicken breasts.

However, the precise mechanism underlying TIE1's involvement in Gastric Cancer (GC) remains elusive. This research aimed to investigate the biological function of TIE1 in regulating GC progression.

Methods: Patients diagnosed with stage II-III rectal adenocarcinoma from 2011 to 2015 were randomly sampled from the SEER-Plus database to evaluate the superiority of preoperative chemoradiotherapy versus preoperative chemotherapy alone.
Findings: A total of 1314 eligible patients were enrolled, with a median follow-up of 74.
Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is one of the most common pelvic floor dysfunction disorders worldwide. The weakening of pelvic connective tissues initiated by excessive collagen degradation is a leading cause of POP. However, the patches currently used in the clinic trigger an unfavorable inflammatory response, which often leads to implantation failure and the inability to simultaneously reverse progressive collagen degradation.

This study aimed to investigate the association between longitudinal trajectories of stroke severity and 90-day functional outcomes in patients with acute ischemic stroke receiving endovascular treatment.
Methods: We enrolled patients from a prospective, multicenter, randomized controlled trial.
Ferroptosis, as a type of regulated cell death, can trigger the release of damage-associated molecular patterns from cancer cells and lead to the enhancement of immune recognition. Fenton reaction-mediated chemodynamic therapy could initiate ferroptosis by generating lipid peroxides, but its efficiency would be greatly restricted by the insufficient HO and antioxidant system within the tumor. Herein, this work reports the successful preparation of HO self-supplied and glutathione (GSH)-depletion therapeutic nanocomposites (CuO@Au) through in situ growth of Au nanoparticles on the surface of cuprous oxide (CuO) nanospheres.
