[Association study of five pedigree with high incidence of schizophrenia].

This study is to explore the relationship between polymorphism of Catechol O-methyltransferase gene and schizophrenia. Search for a gene predisposing to schizophrenia in the Han nationality in China. Five pedigrees with high incidence of schizophrenia were studied by polymerize chain reaction(PCR) and restriction fragment length polymorphism(RFLP) technique.
