Rare-earth doped nanoparticles (RENPs) have shown promise in biomedical imaging, particularly within the NIR-IIb region, due to their deep tissue penetration and minimal light scattering. Despite numerous efforts involving surface coating, doping, and alloying, maintaining surface stability of metal at high temperatures without compromising intrinsic properties has remained challenging. Here, we present a pragmatic method to address the accelerated oxidation of Cu, Ni, and Fe at temperatures exceeding 200 °C. Inspired by the concept that oxygen (O) itself can effectively obstruct the pathway of O infiltration, this study proposes the immobilization of O on the metal surface.

Human milk studies analyzing widely used contaminants mainly utilize a targeted approach to screen and quantify a limited number of compounds. While targeted analysis allows health officials to quantify the levels of these chemicals in human milk, it fails to detect the presence of other unknowns that may be of equal importance. Intestinal microorganisms play a crucial role in chicken health and production performance, especially in the research of traditional and organic feeding methods. The intestinal contents of organic and feed chickens were analyzed by 16S rRNA gene and metagenome technology. The results showed that the microbial diversity of organic chickens was significantly higher than that of the feed chickens, especially the key microorganisms, such as , were more abundant in organic chickens.

In this study, with the aimed to explore the anti-inflammatory ingredients of Salvia cavaleriei, a phytochemical study with bioactive guided isolation for this plant have been taken. As a result, two pairs of new phenylacetic acid enantiomers, (±) cavalvia A (±1) and B (±2), and one previously undescribed germacrane-type sesquiterpenoid, salviesquiten A (3), along with ten known ones (4-13) were isolated from the ethyl acetate portion of 95 % ethanol extract. Previous studies have shown that thyroid malignancies can alter the transcriptional oscillations of circadian clock genes. In this study, we screened the expression of core circadian clock genes in thyroid neoplasms and found that CSNK1E, NPAS2, and TIMELESS were upregulated, while ARNTL, CRY1, CRY2, PER2, and RORA were downregulated during the progression and dedifferentiation of thyroid cancer. Immunohistochemical analysis further confirmed an increase in CSNK1E expression parallel to the loss of tumor differentiation.
