24 C3'-focused hybrids of aryl/penta-1,4-dien-3-one/amine (APDA) were designed and synthesized. Of these hybrids, 2 n demonstrated improved antiproliferative effects on HER2-positive breast cancer cells (SKBr3 and BT474) and triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells (MDA-MB-231 and MDA-MB-468) with IC values ranging from 7.45 to 10.

Aims: This study was aimed to investigate the expression patterns and prognostic value of microRNA-517b-3p (miR-517b-3p) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients with portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT).

Methods: The expression of miR-517b-3p in PVTT tissues and cells was estimated using qRT-PCR. Through Kaplan-Meier survival analysis, Cox regression assay and ROC analysis, the significance of miR-517b-3p was explored.

To explore the potential of "physical property model" based on the concept of quality by design(QbD),during the application of process analysis technology(PAT) in the concentration process. The Carthami Flos was used as a model drug. Firstly, the total flavonoid retention rate and the hydroxysafflor yellow A(HSYA) retention rate of the concentrated solution were used as indicators to determine the concentration temperature range of the Carthami Flos extract.
