Background: Multiple myeloma (MM) is a prevalent hematologic malignancy characterized by the uncontrolled proliferation of monoclonal plasma cells in the bone marrow and excessive monoclonal immunoglobulin production, leading to organ damage. Despite therapeutic advancements, recurrence and drug resistance remain significant challenges.

Objective: This study investigates the effects of dandelion flavone (DF) on MM cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, aiming to elucidate the mechanisms involved in MM metastasis and to explore the potential of traditional Chinese medicine in MM therapy.

This research was aimed at exploring the diagnostic and screening effect of composite echocardiography based on the artificial intelligence (AI) segmentation algorithm on fetal congenital heart disease (CHD) during pregnancy, so as to reduce the birth rate of newborns with CHD. A total of 204 fetuses with abnormal heart conditions were divided into group II, group C (optimized with the AI algorithm), and group W (not optimized with the AI algorithm). In addition, 9,453 fetuses with normal heart conditions were included in group I.

Rosmarinic acid having potential anti-inflammatory and free radical scavenging activity. We examined the chemotherapeutic effect of rosmarinic against cisplatin (CIS)-induced ovarian toxicity via modulation of oxidative stress and inflammation. Swiss BALB mice used in experimental protocol and mice were divided into different groups.

The ternary hybrid material chitosan/4A Zeolite/Zr based Zeolite was synthesized by using 4A zeolite molecular sieve, Zr-zeolite and chitosan acetic acid solution as starting materials. The prepared composite were characterized by SEM, FT-IR and XRD. The experimental conditions such as the concentration of chitosan acetic acid solution, mass ratio of mass ratio of chitosan acetic acid solution, 4A zeolite molecular sieve and Zr-zeolite functional material, the optimum calcination temperature were optimized.

Animal studies have indicated that olfactomedin 2 (OLFM2) is involved in the process of vascular remolding. The aim of the present study was to investigate circulating OLFM2 levels in lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans (LEASO) patients and the association of OLFM2 with postoperative restenosis in patients. A total of 203 LEASO patients were enrolled in the present study.

The objectives of this work are to quantify the degree of multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) length reduction upon melt compounding and to demonstrate unambiguously that the length reduction is mainly responsible for the increase in electrical percolation threshold of the resulting composites. Polyolefin matrices of varying viscosities and different functional groups are melt compounded with MWCNTs. A simple method is developed to solubilize the polymer matrix and isolate the MWCNTs, enabling detailed imaging analysis.

This paper describes a novel re-keying function protocol (NRFP) for wireless sensor network security. A re-keying process management system for sensor networks is designed to support in-network processing. The design of the protocol is motivated by decentralization key management for wireless sensor networks (WSNs), covering key deployment, key refreshment, and key establishment.

Murihexol (1), a novel acetogenin, and three known ones, donhexocin (2), annonacin A and annonacin, have been isolated from the seeds of Annona muricata. Compound 1 is a C(35) acetogenin without any THF rings, with six hydroxyls in the long aliphatic chain. The hydroxyls of 1 and 2 are all located at C-4, C-10, C-15, C-16, C-19 and C-20, but their stereochemistries are different.
