Although PEGylation can prolong the circulating half-life of ASNase, however, it also induces anti-PEG antibodies that lead to accelerated blood clearance (ABC) and hypersensitivity reactions. The fusion of sufficient-electron heterocycle rings into the[]/[]-position of the BODIPY core would result in a large redshift wavelength, thus achieving red or near infrared emission. In this paper, we described the synthesis of nonsymmetric benzo[]fused and thiophene/thieno[3,2-]thiophene[]fused BODIPY derivatives while containing a reactive site, and then, were developed by nucleophilic substitution reactions of with various nucleophilic agents in high yields. X-ray crystallographic analysis of revealed that the core structure adopted a planar geometry and π-π interactions were observed in the packing structure.

Linearly conjugated systems have long served as an archetype of conjugated materials, but suffer from two intrinsic structural problems: potential instability due to intermolecular interactions and the flexibility of the C-C bonds connecting C═C bonds. Efforts to solve these problems have included the insertion of aromatic units as a part of the conjugation and the introduction of carbon bridges to stop the bond rotation. Our objective was to compare the diagnostic performance and diagnostic confidence of convolutional neural networks (CNN) to radiologists in characterizing small hypoattenuating hepatic nodules (SHHN) in colorectal carcinoma (CRC) on CT scans. Retrospective review of CRC CT scans over 6-years yielded 199 patients (550 SHHN) defined as < 1 cm in diameter. The reference standard was established through 1-year stability/MRI for benign or nodule evolution for malignant nodules.
