- This study aimed to explore how acupuncture impacts pain relief in patients with primary dysmenorrhoea, focusing on the role of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis.
- Eighty-eight patients participated, with one group receiving deep needling acupuncture and the other receiving shallow needling, both applied to the same acupuncture point (SP6) for 30 minutes.
- Results indicated no significant difference in pain relief between the groups, but those who experienced a specific sensation during treatment reported greater reductions in pain scores, suggesting that achieving this sensation may enhance the effectiveness of acupuncture.
Objective: To find out the high yield cultivation measures for Arctii Fructus.
Methods: Completely randomized block experiment design method was used in the field planting, to analyze the effect of different cultivation way on agronomic characters, phenological phase,quality and quantity of Arctii Fructus.
Results: Arctium lappa planted on August 28 had the best results of plant height, thousand seeds weight and yield.
Background: The safflower, Carthamus tinctorius L., is a worldwide oil crop, and its flowers, which have a high flavonoid content, are an important medicinal resource against cardiovascular disease in traditional medicine. Because the safflower has a large and complex genome, the development of its genomic resources has been delayed.
