Phenoxazine, as an organic-small-molecule chromophore, has attracted much attention for its potential electrochromic applications recently. To develop appealing materials, phenoxazine chromophores were introduced at the N-position of carbazole-thiophene pigment, yielding two novel monomers (DTCP and DDCP), whose chemical structures were characterized by NMR, HRMS and FTIR. The results of the optical property study indicate that little influence could be observed in the presence of the phenoxazine chromophore.

Programmed cell death protein ligand-1 (PD-L1) and major histocompatibility complex I (MHC-I) are key molecules related to tumor immune evasion and resistance to programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/PD-L1 blockade. Here, we demonstrated that the upregulation of all miRNAs in the miR-23a/27a/24 - 2 cluster was correlated with poor survival, immune evasion and PD-1/PD-L1 blockade resistance in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The overexpression of all miRNAs in the miR-23a/27a/24 - 2 cluster upregulated PD-L1 expression by targeting Cbl proto-oncogene B (CBLB) and downregulated MHC-I expression by increasing the level of eukaryotic initiation factor 3B (eIF3B) via the targeting of microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF).

To cope with the rapid preparation and tunable function of terahertz (THz) devices, a kind of THz beam meta-deflector (BMD) based on a bilayer metasurface doublet is proposed to implement tunable beam deflection with additional functions. By superimposing functional phases on one of the layers and sliding the other layer, the BMDs can achieve continuously beam deflection with beam splitting or beam focusing. It is possible to quickly switch between different functions by replacing the functional phase.

Organic-inorganic hybrid metal halide perovskites carrying strong spin-orbital coupling (SOC) have demonstrated remarkable light-emitting properties in spontaneous emission, amplified spontaneous emission (ASE), and circularly-polarized luminescence (CPL). Experimental studies have shown that SOC plays an important role in controlling the light-emitting properties in such hybrid perovskites. Here, the SOC consists of both orbital (L) and spin (S) momentum, leading to the formation of J (= L + S) excitons intrinsically involving orbital and spin momentum.

With the development of transportation technology, the improvement of transportation efficiency also increases the complexity and diversity of traffic safety risks; the public's concern for traffic safety risks is increasing, and the traditional regulatory model is difficult to meet the improvement of the effectiveness of the safety regulation of the huge transportation network and the public's changing safety needs. In order to enhance the effectiveness of safety regulation, a game model of safety risk regulation among the public, transport enterprises, and regulators is constructed to simulate the effects of different traffic risks, penalty levels, and exposure rates on the behavior of transport enterprises and regulators. The results of the study show that: traffic risk has a positive facilitating effect on the participation of transport enterprises and the public in the regulation of safety risks, which will accelerate the process of stabilization of their strategies; transport enterprises have a high sensitivity to changes in the level of punishment, and only when the level of punishment exceeds a certain threshold will they be able to promote the choice of complying with the transport; and a higher exposure will lead to a greater tendency for transport enterprises to choose complying with the transport.
