Background: Distal stent migration is a well-known complication following insertion of biliary stents. Most such cases can be managed expectantly, because the stents pass through the gastrointestinal tract. However, small bowel obstruction as a result of the stent mandates surgical intervention.

Methods: Of 228 enrolled patients, 71 discontinued antidepressant therapy. Data from 57 patients were available for analysis: 37 patients discontinued tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs) and 20 discontinued selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
Background: Duodenal diverticuli are present in up to 22% of the population. However, perforation of a duodenal diverticulum with spillage of enteric contents into the retroperitoneum is rare.
Methods: We report three cases of perforated duodenal diverticulitis.
