- A meta-analysis was conducted by reviewing multiple studies on neuroendoscopy-assisted surgery for CSDH, where the literature was rigorously evaluated and analyzed.
- The analysis indicated that neuroendoscopy-assisted surgery significantly reduced recurrence rates and complications, improved recovery rates, decreased operative time, and shortened hospital stays, although further high-quality research is necessary to validate these findings.

Our case report is from a patient with rectal carcinoma who presented with symptomatic middle finger metastases, and we describe the clinical characteristics of this presentation and the treatment provided. Metastases in bone tissues are a sign of a grave prognostic outcome due to the association of this with advanced terminal disease.
