Background: Prostate cancer (PC) is the most prevalent among men and yet its risk factors are little known. This article aims to determine the hospital incidence, trend and municipal distribution of PC in Health Area of León (HAL).

Methods: We included new cases of prostate cancer (ICD-9: 185, ICD-10: C61) enrolled in the Hospital Tumor Registry of the Complejo Asistencial Universitario de León, between 1996 to 2010 with residence in HAL.

Methods: We designed an observational descriptive study that included women enrolled in the Hospital Tumor Registry of the Centro Asistencial Universitario in León with a diagnosis of breast malignant neoplasm (ICD-9: 174, ICD-10: 50) between 01/01/1996 and 31/12/2010 and resident in the health area of León.

[Primary hepatic leiomyosarcoma in a patient with gastric non-Hodgkin lymphoma].

Primary leiomyosarcoma of the liver is a rare entity and fewer than 100 cases have been reported in the medical literature. Even more unusual is the association with another previous tumour. We report the case of a 84-year-old man who had been treated for a gastric non-Hodgkin lymphoma two years previously.
