The increasing contamination of water sources by heavy metals necessitates the development of efficient and sustainable adsorption materials. This study evaluates the potential of nano-hydroxyapatite (HA) powders synthesized from chemical reagents (Chem-HA) and clam shells (Bio-HA) as adsorbents for Cu ions in aqueous solutions. Both powders were synthesized using microwave irradiation at 700 W for 5 min, resulting in nano-sized rod-like particles confirmed as HA by X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Mikania micrantha Kunth (MM) is an invasive plant containing phytochemicals as antimicrobial agents. To explore its impacts on ARGs and pathogen-host interactions (PHIs), MM was added to composting mixtures.

CPRs and P450s in insects have been found to participate in insecticide resistance. However, the CPR of the moth has not been well characterized yet.

However, the performance of most HSCs is limited by low kinetics of the battery-type anode which cannot match the fast kinetics of the capacitor-type cathode. In this study, we have synthesized a three-dimensional (3D) porous composite with uniformly incorporated MoS2 flocculent nanostructure onto 3D graphene via a facile solution-processed method as an anode for high-performance HSCs.
