Purpose: To explore the recurrence pattern and risk factors associated with the relapse of thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (TESCC) among patients who received esophagectomy following neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy (NICT).
Methods: A total of 191 TESCC patients who received esophagectomy following NICT were retrospectively reviewed from 2019 to 2022. The first recurrence patterns were assessed.

Objective: To investigate the distribution and clinical significance of antiphospholipid antibody (aPL) in patients with Behcet disease (BD).
Methods: A total of 222 BD patients admitted to the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology in Peking University People' s Hospital from February 2008 to July 2024 were selected retrospectively. General data of the patients including age and gender were collec-ted.

Objective: To explore the ovarian function and its influencing factors in women of childbearing age with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Methods: A total of 107 female patients diagnosed with SLE at Peking University People' s Hospital from January 2017 to May 2024, aged between 20 and 40 years, were included in the study. At the same time, 40 matched healthy women aged between 20 and 40 years were selected as controls.

Objective: To stratify systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients clinically, to analyze the clinical characteristics of patients with and without disease activity, and to explore the application va-lue of key clinical indicators in assessing disease activity, as well as to construct an evaluation model.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of the SLE patients diagnosed at Peking University People' s Hospital from May 1995 to April 2014. Demographic information, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, and antibody detection results were collected.
Focusing on the issue of the low recognition rates achieved by traditional deep-information-based action recognition algorithms, an action recognition approach was developed based on skeleton spatial-temporal and dynamic features combined with a two-stream convolutional neural network (TS-CNN). Firstly, the skeleton's three-dimensional coordinate system was transformed to obtain coordinate information related to relative joint positions. Subsequently, this relevant joint information was encoded as a color texture map to construct the spatial-temporal feature descriptor of the skeleton.

In the release process, the test mass's motion state is complex and susceptible to collisions with the satellite cavity. In addition, the release capture control of the test mass uses electrostatic force, which is extremely small.

This study aims to explore whether the JAK2-STAT1/PD-L1 pathway is upregulated on AMs in LPS-induced mice acute lung injury and to further explore the impact of the JAK2-specific inhibitor CEP-33779 on the LPS-induced impairment of AMs phagocytic activity and lung injury.
Methods: ALI was induced in mice via intratracheal administration of LPS, followed by intragastric administration of JAK2 inhibitor CEP-33779 suspension.
Background: Occipital neuralgia manifests as pain in the cutaneous distribution of occipital nerves, with the greater occipital nerve stemming from the C2 spinal nerve and the lesser occipital nerve originating from the C2 and C3 spinal nerves. While pulsed radiofrequency ablation of the C2 dorsal root ganglion (DRG) is an effective treatment for refractory occipital neuralgia, accessing the C2 DRG remains a clinical challenge even under fluoroscopic guidance.
Objective: We aimed to develop an ultrasonographic method for quickly and accurately accessing the C2 DRG.
Objectives: A significant number of women may experience urinary incontinence (UI) during pregnancy. While lifestyle modifications are recommended as important measures for preventing and treating UI, little is known about the lifestyle status of gravida with UI. This study aimed to develop the Lifestyle Profile Scale for Gravida with Urinary Incontinence (LPG-UI) and to evaluate its psychometric properties.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAcquired resistance to androgen receptor (AR)-targeted therapies underscores the need to identify alternative therapeutic targets for treating lethal prostate cancer. In this study, we evaluated the prognostic significance of 1635 human transcription factors (TFs) by analyzing castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) datasets from the West and East Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) cohorts. Through this screening approach, we identified E2F8, a putative transcriptional repressor, as a TF consistently associated with poorer patient outcomes in both cohorts.

Basic sperm parameters such as concentration and vitality were assessed, along with the DNA Fragmentation Index (DFI) using the SCSA method. Additionally, the mean number of sperm DNA breaks (MDB) and free DNA fragments amount in seminal plasma (fDFA) were analyzed using the TDT-Strand Displacement Probe Technique.

However, due to the high water content and defective network structure, their inherent mechanical strength is low, which seriously hinders their application. In the present work, enhanced adhesive hydrogels could be synthesized by balancing cohesion and adhesion forces.
