This paper proposes a joint multi-innovation fractional gradient descent identification algorithm for fractional order systems. First, the flexibility of fractional calculus is leveraged to design a joint fractional gradient descent algorithm capable of estimating system parameters and unknown orders. The estimated system parameters are used as the initial conditions to identify the unknown order, and the identified order is used as the update conditions for the system parameters.

Article Synopsis
  • - Lithium ion sieve adsorbents are effective for extracting liquid lithium due to their efficient adsorption and cost-effectiveness, but their performance is heavily influenced by the pH of the environment.
  • - The pH impacts adsorption through two main factors: competition with impurity ions and variations in surface zeta potential, which are addressed by a dual-matrix modulation adsorbent using modified carrier and adsorption matrices.
  • - This dual-matrix approach significantly boosts the adsorption capacity and selectivity of the lithium ion sieve, surpassing traditional manganese-based adsorbents, while also minimizing pH-related issues and achieving consistent performance under various conditions.

This paper proposed the additional fractional gradient descent identification algorithm based on the multi-innovation principle for autoregressive exogenous models. This algorithm incorporates an additional fractional order gradient to the integer order gradient. The two gradients are synchronously used to identify model parameters, thereby accelerating the convergence of the algorithm.

Despite the excellent performance of NbO(OH) in dye-sensitized solar cells and catalysis, its charge separation, transport, and structural properties remain poorly understood. Herein, the NbO(OH) nanorods were prepared, and their structural characteristics, optoelectronic properties, and carrier mobility were also analyzed and investigated through a series of complex characterizations. Theoretical prediction suggested that the exciton binding energy of NbO(OH) could be as high as 100.

Research and analysis of attacks on dynamic graph is beneficial for information systems to investigate vulnerabilities and strength abilities in resisting malicious attacks. Existing attacks on dynamic graphs mainly focus on rewiring original graph structures, which are often infeasible in real-world scenarios. To address this issue, we adopt a novel strategy by injecting both fake nodes and links to attack dynamic graphs.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder characterized by progressive cognitive dysfunction and an impaired ability to carry out daily life functions. Mitochondrial dysfunction and β-amyloid (Aβ) deposition are the most common causes of AD. Antioxidants have been shown to delay brain aging and AD development; however, it remains unknown whether the antioxidant peptide SS31 can protect mitochondrial and synaptic function and delay the progression of behavioral deficits in early-stage AD in vivo.

PLPPs (Phospholipid phosphatases) are widely expressed in different human tissues, regulate cell signal transduction, and are overexpressed in cancers such as gliomas, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, and so on. As a member of the PLPP family, PLPP2 (phospholipid phosphatase 2) plays a vital role in the occurrence and development of breast cancer, but its mechanism is still unclear. Our research found that PLPP2 was overexpressed in breast cancer, and the higher expression level of PLPP2 showed a worse prognosis for breast cancer patients.

  • ADAMDEC1 is a part of a gene family that is important in many diseases, especially different types of cancer like gliomas, but we don’t know much about how it works in gliomas specifically.
  • In glioma tissues, ADAMDEC1 levels were found to be higher, and the more of it there was, the more serious the cancer seemed to be.
  • If we reduce ADAMDEC1 in certain brain cancer cells, they grow less, but increasing it makes them grow more, showing it could be a new target for treatment.
