Methods: Male Wistar rats exposed to 98 dB(A) white noise and/or 100 ppm CO 4 h/d for 30 d were used to determine the pathological changes in the thymus and spleen, and variations in leukocyte counts, inflammatory factors, and immunoglobulin (Ig) concentrations.
Results: The boundaries of the cortex and medulla of the thymus were unclear following noise and combined exposure.

Objective: The safety profile of traditional Chinese medicine injections has emerged as the greatest challenge to their clinical application. The authors aimed to perform a post-marketing surveillance study in a real-world setting to evaluate the safety of the Xuesaitong (XST) injection in China.
Methods: This multi-centre, post-marketing, observational study enrolled patients who received XST injections in 42 centres in China between March 2015 and November 2017.

Concurrent liver histopathology examinations and plasma clinical chemistry analyses were also performed. Significant changes were observed in clinical chemistry features, including alkaline phosphatase, total protein, and total cholesterol, and in liver pathology, suggesting that SWCNTs clearly have hepatotoxicity in the rat.
