Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) and angiomyofibroblastoma (AMFB) are two rare types of mesenchymal tumors with overlapping clinicopathological features. In certain cases, the differential diagnosis between the two tumors is difficult even for experienced pathologists. The present study reported the case of a well-circumscribed soft tissue mass on the anterior wall of the vagina in a 25-year-old woman.

The present study reports a case of PHMCF terminated by induction of labor via administration of Rivanol at 17 weeks. Follow-up measurements of serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) levels, as well as imaging studies, indicated the presence of persistent trophoblastic disease (PTD) and lung metastases.

A remarkable case of HWWS with contralateral duplex kidneys and duplication of ureters is described, which, to our knowledge, is a rarely reported variant to date. For this congenital anomaly, a strong suspicion and knowledge of HWWS are essential for a precise diagnosis.

Objective: The purpose of this series was to describe the transvaginal color pulsed Doppler sonographic features of epithelioid trophoblastic tumors (ETTs) and to evaluate whether there were specific sonographic criteria to accurately distinguish them from other lesions.
Methods: Seven cases of ETTs treated in the Women's Hospital of Zhejiang University were retrospectively analyzed. Doppler indices, including the Pourcelot resistive index (RI), pulsatility index (PI), and peak systolic to diastolic velocity (S/D) ratio from blood flow signals within the tumors were calculated from each waveform sample by using the software of the ultrasound machines.
