Multi-drug resistance of bacteria producing extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) is a public health challenge. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the antimicrobial susceptibility of ESBL-producing (ESBL-EC) in Hunan Province, China. A total of 1366 fecal samples were collected from pig, chicken, and cattle farms over a six-year period, which were assessed using strain isolation, 16S rRNA identification, polymerase chain reaction, drug sensitivity testing, whole-genome sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis.

Background: The plasmid-mediated tigecycline resistance gene (X4) confers a high level of resistance to tigecycline. The experiment aims to investigate the prevalence and characterization of (X4) in isolates from chicken and pig farms in Hunan province, China.
Methods: A total of six (X4) positive strains were identified in 257 derived from chicken samples in Xiangtan city ( = 2), pig samples in Xiangxiang city ( = 1), Chenzhou city ( = 2), and Zhuzhou city ( = 1).
The mobile colistin-resistance gene is primarily detected in species, such as and , and represents a significant public health threat. Herein, we investigated the prevalence and characteristics of -positive . (MCRPEC) in hospitalized companion animals in a pet hospital in Shanghai, China, from May 2021 to July 2021.

Accordingly, antimicrobial-resistant organisms, which can be transmitted to humans via the food chain, pose a threat to public health. The Enterobacterium antimicrobial resistance gene, , is a transmissible gene that has attracted widespread attention.

However, most of patients resist chemotherapy resulting in disease progressive and recurrence. Titin () mutation is proved as a beneficial role in lung squamous carcinoma (LUSC), but the predictive role on chemotherapy resistance of lung cancer is still limited and discussable.

The BAS-DNA machine is composed by a pair of track strands (Track 1 and Track 2) encoding with two regions in the opposite direction for miR-21 recognition. Introduction of miR-21 can hybridize either with Track 1 or with Track 2 to activate the BAS-DNA machine with a synergistic effect for speeded amplifying the fluorescence signal.

The present study aimed to describe the clinical characteristics and laboratory findings of 78 patients with COVID-19 in order to enhance the understanding of the disease. Medical records and data of 78 patients with COVID-19, including demographics, clinical features, laboratory findings and radiological characteristics, were collected and analyzed.

Methods: miR-218 expression was detected in 76 samples of surgically resected osteosarcoma and matched normal tumor-adjacent tissues using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). MiR-218 was over-expressed by exogenous miR-218 plasmids in Saos-2 cells, and then BrdU cell proliferation assay and flow cytometry were used to determine cell proliferation and apoptosis.
