A high-performance polypropylene hollow fiber membrane (PP-HFM) was prepared by using a binary environmentally friendly solvent of polypropylene as the raw material, adopting the thermally induced phase separation (TIPS) method, and adjusting the raw material ratio. The binary diluents were soybean oil (SO) and acetyl tributyl citrate (ATBC). The suitable SO/ATBC ratio of 7/3 was based on the size change of the L-L phase separation region in PP-SO/ATBC thermodynamic phase diagram.

This study aims to experimentally and theoretically investigate the roles of a threaded nozzle and yield stress in the coaxial air blast atomization of a gelled jet by means of rheological tests and high-speed flow visualization techniques. Similar to the breakup types of Newtonian fluids, a gelled jet will gradually exhibit an oscillation mode, membrane-type breakup, fiber-type breakup and a superpulsating submode as the airflow velocity increases. The clinical applications of phototherapy nanomaterials are still limited due to concerns regarding their phototoxicity and efficacy. Herein, we report a novel type of D-π-A molecular backbone that induces type I/II photosensitivity and photodegradability by forming J-aggregates. The photodegradation rate can be regulated by changing the donor groups to regulate the photosensitivity of their aggregates because the photodegradability performance results from their oxidation by O generated by their type II photosensitivity.

Bioinformatics analysis suggested FIP-hma contained the cerato-platanin (CP) conserved domain and was categorized into Cerato-type FIP. Dyschromatosis universalis hereditaria (DUH) is characterized by diffuse symmetrically distributed hypopigmented macules mixed with hyperpigmentation. DUH is divided into three types by Online Mendelian inheritance in man (OMIM) that is, DUH1 (OMIM 127500), DUH2 (OMIM 612715) and DUH3 (OMIM 615402) according to the different linkage regions. The efficiency of homology-directed repair (HDR) plays a crucial role in the development of animal models and gene therapy. We demonstrate that microhomology-mediated end-joining (MMEJ) constitutes a substantial proportion of DNA repair during CRISPR-mediated gene editing. Using CasRx to downregulate a key MMEJ factor, Polymerase Q (Polq), we improve the targeted integration efficiency of linearized DNA fragments and single-strand oligonucleotides (ssODN) in mouse embryos and offspring.

Accurate identification of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients at high risk of sudden cardiac death (SCD) event is challenging.
