By characterizing the vehicle driving vibration data, a distributed acoustic sensing system based highway vehicle driving vibration detection scheme is proposed. Firstly, the out-of-bag error criterion of random forest is used to select multiple features of the vibration signals to obtain the most suitable feature quantity to characterize the road vibration signals, then the root mean square value of the signal matched filtering is calculated and compared, and the threshold is used to distinguish between the vehicle vibration signals and the noise.

However, repeated freezing and thawing would inevitably occur due to the temperature fluctuation, leading to the microstructure damage, lipid oxidation and protein integrity decline of tuna muscle without notable visual appearance change. In this study, we used a rapid evaporative ionization mass spectrometry (REIMS) technique for the real-time determination of the extent of repeated freezing and thawing cycles in tuna fillets.

Therefore, we identified significantly dysregulated circRNAs in ATB patients and healthy controls (HC) and explored their molecular mechanism. We found that hsa_circ_0002371 was significantly up-regulated in PBMCs of ATB patients and Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv- or Mycobacterium bovis bacillus Calmette Guerin (BCG)-infected THP-1 cells.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTuberculosis (TB) is a major global health threat despite its virtual elimination in developed countries. Issues such as drug accessibility, emergence of multidrug-resistant strains, and limitations of the current BCG vaccine highlight the urgent need for more effective TB control measures. This study constructed BCG strains overexpressing Rv1002c and found that the rBCG-Rv1002c strain secreted more glycosylated proteins, significantly enhancing macrophage activation and immune protection against ().

Mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 2 (MST2), a core component of the Hippo signaling pathway, plays a key role in apoptosis and cell growth. However, its role in neurite outgrowth after spinal cord injury remains unknown.

To escape immune clearance, Mtb can manipulate and inhibit the normal host process of phagosome maturation. Phagosome maturation arrest by Mtb involves multiple effectors and much remains unknown about this important aspect of Mtb pathogenesis.

Unfortunately, some characteristics of cathode material, zinc anode, and electrolyte still limit the development of aqueous zinc-ion batteries possessing conversion mechanism. Consequently, this paper provides a detailed summary of the development for numerous aqueous zinc-based batteries: zinc-sulfur (Zn-S) batteries, zinc-selenium (Zn-Se) batteries, zinc-tellurium (Zn-Te) batteries, zinc-iodine (Zn-I) batteries, and zinc-bromine (Zn-Br) batteries.

At present, the straight-grooves type external groove wheel fertilizer apparatus is widely used, which has the problem that the fertilizer flow fluctuates periodically and is not conducive to precision fertilization. Therefore a kind of the spiral groove wheel fertilizer apparatus is proposed in the paper, and the designed fertilizer apparatus is experimented and optimized by using Design-Expert Software 10 and a self-made fertilizer experiment bench.

Capacitive deionization (CDI) is perceived as a promising technology for freshwater production owing to its environmentally friendly nature and low energy consumption. To date, the development of high-performance electrode materials represents the foremost challenge for CDI technology. In this work, the porous bismuthene/MXene (P-Bi-ene/MXene) heterostructure was synthesized using a simple interfacial self-assembly method with two-dimensional (2D) bismuthene and TiCT MXene.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs) are considered to be one of the most promising devices for large-scale energy storage systems owing to their high theoretical capacity, environmental friendliness, and safety. However, the ionic intercalation or surface redox mechanisms in conventional cathode materials generally result in unsatisfactory capacities. Conversion-type aqueous zinc-tellurium (Zn-Te) batteries have recently gained widespread attention owing to their high theoretical specific capacities.

Method: We estimated the prevalence of TGEV in Chinese pig animals from 1983 to 2022 by screening 36 papers on TGEV investigations in China from databases such as China Knowledge Network (CNKI), Wanfang Database, Science and Technology Journal Repository (VIP), PubMed, and ScienceDirect, excluding duplicate literature and other host studies according to the exclusion criteria we developed, and excluding literature with incomplete data to extract information from studies that could estimate the prevalence of TGEV infection in pigs in mainland China.
Results: A total of 36 studies (including data from 50,403 pigs) met our evaluation criteria.
