Aromatase plays a crucial role in the conversion of androgens to oestrogens and is often overexpressed in hormone-dependent tumours, particularly breast cancer. [18F]BIBD-071, which has excellent binding affinity for aromatase and good pharmacokinetics, has potential for the diagnosis and treatment of aromatase-related diseases. The MCF-7 cell line, which is hormone receptor-positive (HR+), was used in the assessment of the novel [18F]-labelled radiotracer [18F]BIBD-071 via positron emission tomography (PET) imaging of an HR+ breast cancer xenograft model.

This study aimed to create and validate a new multi-predictor nomogram to predict SRC risk and compare it to an existing model.
Methods: A retrospective multicentre observational study was conducted using clinical data from SSc patients with SRC registered in the Chinese Rheumatism Data Center (CRDC) database.
Aim: The continuous update of international guidelines and enhanced availability of biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (bDMARDs) and targeted synthetic DMARDs (tsDMARDs) have made a significant impact on the diagnosis and treatment of early rheumatoid arthritis (ERA). This study aims to systematically evaluate the current treatment strategies and outcomes within a large-scale cohort of patients with ERA.
Methods: Data from the Chinese Registry of Rheumatoid Arthritis (CREDIT), a large multicenter Chinese registry of RA, were collected to analyze temporal trends in clinical profiles, therapeutic strategies, and treatment outcomes among patients with ERA.
Wound bacterial infections not only impede the healing process but can also give rise to a range of serious complications, thereby posing a substantial risk to human health. Developing effective wound dressings incorporating phototherapy functionalities, specifically photothermal therapy (PTT) and photodynamic therapy (PDT), remains a critical area of research in modern wound care. Existing PTT-PDT systems often suffer from challenges such as nanoparticle aggregation and inefficient reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, which are essential for therapeutic efficacy.

However, molecular cytogenetic studies in alfalfa lag far behind other cash crops and have reached a bottleneck. Here, we developed a novel chromosome identification system by designing 21 oligo probes in specific regions of each chromosome, which can be used as a barcode to simultaneously distinguish all chromosomes in a cell.

In this work, for the first time, we developed a smart enrichment strategy (MNPs-l-DOPA/PEI-SP) based on the change in hydrophilic properties of spiropyran under the regulation of light and pH to realize the controllable enrichment and release of intact glycopeptides. The enrichment mechanism and possible binding mechanism were verified by theoretical calculations.

Under visible light, the optimal sample called CdS/GCNS-1:2 presented the best photodegradation rate of nearly 100% over methyl orange (MO), of which the reaction constant k was about 9.67 and 5.

However, these methodologies typically rely on an abundance of high-performance data, which remains scarce in many practical design scenarios. To bridge this gap, our study introduces what we believe to be a novel approach that synergistically combines multi-objective optimization algorithms with an enhanced diffusion model featuring an attention mechanism, termed MetaDiffusion-Att.

Among the different types of dynamic hydrogels, photoresponsive hydrogels are of particular interest. Here, we report the engineering of a photoresponsive protein hydrogel by using the photocleavable protein PhoCl.

Herein, the pH-sensitive MOF carrier was developed via the decoration of 4-formylphenylboronic acid (4-FPBA) for controlled 5'-deoxy-5-fluorocytidine (DFCR) release with selectivity. Besides, chitosan (CS) was introduced as the "gatekeeper" for the prevention of drug leakage.

Hence, a micro-macro coupling method that considered the microscopic properties of the interface was utilized to analyze and predict the mechanical properties of CFRCs more accurately. The microscopic mechanical parameters of the fiber-matrix interface, which were obtained using molecular dynamics, were transferred to the representative volume element (RVE).

A country's national income broadly depends on the quantity and quality of workers and capital. But how well these factors are managed within and between firms may be a key determinant of a country's productivity and its GDP. Although social scientists have long studied the role of management practices in shaping business performance, their primary tool has been individual case studies.

The results showed that soil pH is in the order of CF > AWD > MW. The soil pH increased approximately 0.

This study aims to investigate the correlation between the ALT/HDL-C ratio in early pregnancy and the risk of GDM. This study is a secondary analysis based on an open-source cohort study.

The geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate synthase (GGPS) catalyzed the synthesis of geranylgeranyl pyrophosphate (GGPP), which is an important enzyme in the secondary metabolism pathway. In this study, we present the first analysis of the gene family in TKS, where a total of seven family members were identified.
