Digital financing is an emerging source after COVID-19 to address novel problems of economies and different industries. With the growing concern about the sustainability of the global environment, developing countries are now moving toward unprecedented economic development. This research analyzes the impact of digital finance and economic growth on environmental sustainability in China from 1995 to 2020, focusing on natural resource management.

Left atrial appendage occlusion in a mirror-image dextrocardia: A case report and review of literature.

Background: In mirror-image dextrocardia, the anterior-posterior position of the cardiac chambers and great vessels is maintained, but the left-right orientation of the abdominal organs is reversed. The abnormal anatomy of the heart poses surgical challenges and problems in dealing with surgical risk and monitoring complications. There are few reports on closure of the left atrial appendage (LAA) in dextrocardia and no reports on the application of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) following LAA occlusion (LAAO) procedures.

Herein, we developed a switching system based on G-quadruplexes and methylazacalix[6]pyridine (MACP6).

Schisandrin B protects PC12 cells against oxidative stress of neurodegenerative diseases.

Increasing evidence places Schisandrin B (Sch B) at an important position in nerve protection, indicating that Sch B might play a positive role in the therapy of neurodegenerative diseases. However, there is little information on it. Our studies showed that pretreatment with Sch B could reduce lactate dehydrogenase, malondialdehyde, and reactive oxygen species release and significantly increase the cell viability and the superoxide dismutase level.

Food utilization and growth of the 5th and 6th instar Spodoptera litura Fabricius larvae, and its effect on reproduction potential was evaluated by feeding larvae diets with different doses of Ni for 3 generations. Dose-dependent relationships between Ni levels and food consumption and growth were variable with different larval developmental period and Ni exposure duration. RCR, AD and RGR of the 6th instar larvae were much more affected by Ni exposure than those of 5th instar larvae, and the effects were strongest in the 3rd generation.

A field experiment was conducted to study the effects of full period and growth period straw mulching with an amount of 3000, 6000, and 9000 kg x hm(-2) on the soil aggregates in a no-tillage dryland wheat field in Weibei Loess Pleateau of Shaanxi Province, taking no full period straw mulching as the control. Fishing potential antitumor agents from natural plant extracts pool by dialysis and G-quadruplex recognition.

Screening G-quadruplex ligands from natural plants is important because the ligands may be potential antitumor drugs. A new screening strategy is proposed based on the combination of dialysis and G-quadruplex recognition technique which could separates G-quadruplex ligand from natural extracts and elucidate the structure of this ligand. This result offers a novel approach to obtain active antitumor compounds.

The effect of dietary nickel on the immune responses of Spodoptera litura Fabricius larvae.

By exposing Spodoptera litura Fabricius larvae to nickel (Ni) in artificial diets for successive three generations, we investigated the impacts of the dietary Ni on growth and immune response of the fifth and sixth instar larvae at 24 h intervals. The time of newly moulted fifth instar larvae was labelled as 0 h. After exposure to 5 mg/kg Ni for two generations, Ni exposure significantly improved larval phenoloxidase activity and encapsulation grade in fifth instar larvae when compared to controls, except for encapsulation grade at 72-120 h in the second generation.

A single-stranded G-tract human telomere DNA sequence is able to fold into intramolecular G-quadruplex structures which may be important for a number of biological processes and disease-related mechanisms. Poly(L-lysine) (PLL) polymer is linear polypeptides with lysine as the repeat unit and has been employed as a gene carrier in achieving targeted delivery of DNA to cancer cells. To explore the influence of PLL on the conformation of Hum24 DNA, we have investigated the interaction of PLL with Hum24 by biophysical methods, mainly CD, ESI-MS, and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for the first time.
