Neuropathic pain (NP) is a complex, chronic pain condition caused by injury or dysfunction affecting the somatosensory nervous system. This study aimed to identify crucial genes and miRNAs involved in NP. Microarray data (access number GSE91396) were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO).

Gene expression profiling of GSE30691 which was consisted of sciatic nerve lesion and sham control samples at 3 days, 7 days, 21 days, and 40 days (D3, D7, D21, and D40) after injury were downloaded from Gene Expression Omnibus. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified for all the four time points.
