Article Synopsis
  • - Twelve compounds were identified from the leaves and twigs of a specific plant, including four new compounds: 6,7α-limondiol, ethyl 19-hydroxyisoobacunoate diosphenol, -benzoyl 3-prenyltyramine, and 9--methyl integrifoliodiol.
  • - The structures of these compounds were determined using mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques.
  • - The compounds showed immunosuppressive effects, inhibiting the growth of T lymphocytes and B cells stimulated by ConA and LPS, respectively.

Ecosystem health of the Chishui River Basin (CRB, a crucial ecological barrier in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River) is vital for the ecological security and sustainability of the Yangtze River Basin. We used RUSLE model, SWAT model, Fragstats and geographic detectors to construct a theoretical framework of ecosystem health assessment for CRB, and examined the spatiotemporal variations and driving factors of ecosystem health in CRB under ecological restoration from 2010 to 2020. The results showed that ecosystem service in the CRB decreased and then increased during 2010-2020 and the overall trend was downward.

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of Wnt5a on the vincristine (VCR) resistance in human ovarian carcinoma SKOV3 cells and its possible mechanism. The drug-resistant SKOV3/VCR cells were established by stepwise exposure to VCR, and then the SKOV3/VCR cells were stably transfected with specific shRNA interference plasmid vector targeting for Wnt5a. The mRNA expression level of Wnt5a was measured by RT-PCR.

The complete genome sequence of pike fry rhabdovirus (PFRV), consisting of 11,097 nucleotides, was determined. The genome contains five genes, encoding the nucleoprotein (N), phosphoprotein (P), matrix protein (M), glycoprotein (G), and RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (L) protein in the order 3'-N-P-M-G-L-5'. 3' leader- and 5' trailer-sequences in the PFRV genome show inverse complementarity.
