Philadelphia chromosome-like B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph-like ALL) is driven by genetic alterations that induce constitutive kinase signaling and is associated with chemoresistance and high relapse risk in children and adults. Preclinical studies in the most common CRLF2-rearranged/JAK pathway-activated Ph-like ALL subtype have shown variable responses to JAK inhibitor-based therapies, suggesting incomplete oncogene addiction and highlighting a need to elucidate alternative biologic dependencies and therapeutic vulnerabilities, while the ABL-class Ph-like ALL subtype appears preferentially sensitive to SRC/ABL- or PDGFRB-targeting inhibitors. Which patients may be responsive versus resistant to tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI)-based precision medicine approaches remains a critical knowledge gap.

Chemodynamic therapy (CDT) is a promising and potent therapeutic strategy for the treatment of cancer. We developed a DNA origami-based enzymatic cascade nanoreactor (DOECN) containing spatially well-organized Au nanoparticles and ferric oxide (FeO) nanoclusters for targeted delivery and inhibition of tumor cell growth. The DOECN can synergistically promote the generation of hydrogen peroxide (HO), consumption of glutathione, and creation of an acidic environment, thereby amplifying the Fenton-type reaction and producing abundant reactive oxygen species, such as hydroxyl radicals (•OH), for augmenting the CDT outcome.

We observed tunable characteristics of optical frequency combs (OFCs) generated from InGaAs/GaAs double quantum wells (DQWs) asymmetric waveguide two-section mode-locked lasers (TS-MLLs). NMDA receptor mediated autoimmune encephalitis (NMDAR-AE) frequently results in persistent sensory-motor deficits, especially in children, yet the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This study investigated the long- term effects of exposure to a patient-derived GluN1-specific monoclonal antibody (mAb) during a critical developmental period (from postnatal day 3 to day 12) in mice. We observed long-lasting sensory-motor deficits characteristic of NMDAR-AE, along with permanent changes in callosal axons within the primary somatosensory cortex (S1) in adulthood, including increased terminal branch complexity.

A deep understanding of the mechanical properties of weakly cemented sandstones in coal-bearing strata is crucial for ensuring the safety of coal mining operations. This study addresses this problem by investigating the deformation characteristics of such rocks through triaxial compression tests, and a novel piecewise constitutive model was developed, integrating the Double-strain Hoek model (TPHM) and statistical damage theory. The outcomes highlight several key findings: (1) The experiments revealed a distinct compaction stage in weakly cemented sandstone, which becomes shorter with an increase in confining pressure, highlighting a significant mechanical property of these rocks.
