Objective: The present study aimed to evaluate the performance of odor abatement by using two different ventilation-biofilter systems with recycled stablized swine wastewater.
Methods: The performance of odor removal efficiency was evaluated using two different ventilation-biofilter-recycled wastewater arrangements. A recirculating air-flow ventilation system connected to a vertical biofilter (M1) and a plug-flow ventilation system connected to a horizontal biofilter (M2) were installed.
In this study, the removal of nitrogen and phosphorus from the effluent of treated swine wastewater by Eichhornia crassipes, Pistia stratiotes, Limnobium laevigatum, and Lemna sp. was investigated. Methods: In September 2015, six patients were concurrently presented to the emergency department with various toxicity symptoms, which occurred after the consumption of Rhododendron liqueur at the same toxin concentration. Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis was conducted on blood samples obtained from six cases of GTX intoxication treated in our emergency department.

The calculations of GHG emissions were based on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) guidelines.
