Increasing attention has been paid to the detection of explosives due to the occurrence of terrorist attacks around the world. Here, we used free radical polymerization to develop two different types of fluorescent copolymers for use in detecting picric acid. One exhibits aggregation-caused quenching (ACQ) and is called PNNS [poly (-isopropyl acrylamide---hydroxymethyl acrylamide --styrene-pyrene), poly (NIPAAm--NMA--St-Py)].

Electron-deficient character-induced HTMs can generate varying energy level alignments near the HTM/perovskite interface. Herein, we report the synthesis and investigation of two new dipolar HTMs, and , based on 2-(1,1-dicyanomethylene)rhodamine and 4-cynophenylacetonitrile acceptors, enabling high-efficiency mixed-cation mixed-halide perovskite solar cells.

However, protandrous black porgy are male during their first two reproductive cycles. Estradiol (E2)-induced female growth results in a transient and immature female, and the sexual phase reverts from female to male after E2 is withdrawn.

In this study, we have demonstrated the near-infrared (NIR) photoactivatable enzyme platform using protein kinase A (PKA), an important enzyme in cell biology. We successfully photoactivated PKA using NIR to phosphorylate its substrate, and this induced a downstream cellular response in living cells with high spatiotemporal resolution.

Objective: To understand the changes of Paragonimus metacercaria infection rates of freshwater crabs in Paragonimus endemic areas and explore the causes in Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province, China.
Methods: A field investigation was carried out. The freshwater crabs were collected and the metacercaria were separated from the crabs.
