Objectives: To monitor changes in serum anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) levels of the patients with gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN) who have undergone uterine preservation during treatment with a Methotrexate (MTX) regimen and associations with AMH variations.
Methods: This observational prospective cohort study included 35 patients with low-risk GTN with uterine preservation during single-agent MTX chemotherapy at Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from August 2021 to August 2022. Serum AMH levels were measured before initiation of chemotherapy and after the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd chemotherapy cycles.
As an integral component of the laser interferometry measurement system, the tilt-to-length (TTL) coupling noise inside the telescope stands out as a critical noise factor that requires meticulous consideration. In the TianQin project, the non-geometric TTL-coupled noise inside the telescope should be less than 0.22 pm/Hz.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFA novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptamer biosensor with high sensitivity and selectivity for the detection of tumor biomarker carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) was constructed, and a strategy of triple amplification of signals was proposed using an exonuclease cyclic cleavage aptamer, combined with rolling ring amplification technologies, generating multi-branched dendritic double-stranded DNA to load a large number of probes through "strand self-growth". The double-stranded DNA, which is abbreviated as CP/CA dsDNA, formed by hybridizing the single strand of capture DNA (CP DNA) with the single strand DNA of the CA125 aptamer (CA Apt) was modified on FeO@Au. When CA125 was added, CP/CA dsDNA was unwound, and CA125 specifically combined with CA Apt to form a protein-aptamer complex, leaving only CP DNA on the surface of FeO@Au.

By combining HCR with AuNPs@DNA, a novel signal probe is built, which enables multiple signal amplification and the high-sensitive detection of transgenic rice BT63 DNA.

Case Presentation: Here we reported a case of a 57-year-old male patient diagnosed with spondylolisthesis who underwent PLIF at the local hospital. Seven days post-surgery, abdominal pain occurred, and the pain in the right lower limb gradually increased.

This study aimed to investigate the resistance, biofilm and molecular characteristics of strains isolated from patients with postoperative infections after arthroplasty in two Chinese tertiary care hospitals during 2017 to 2018.
Methods: Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by the agar dilution method.
Objective: Myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein-associated disorders (MOGADs) are a rare new neurological autoimmune disease with unclear pathogenesis. Since a linkage of the disease to the human leucocyte antigen (HLA) has not been shown, we here investigated whether MOGAD is associated with the HLA locus.
Methods: HLA genotypes of 95 patients with MOGADs, assessed between 2016 and 2018 from three academic centres, were compared with 481 healthy Chinese Han individuals.
Background: The contralesional hemisphere compensation may play a critical role in the recovery of stroke when there is extensive damage to one hemisphere. There is little research on the treatment of hemiplegia by high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) delivered to the contralesional cortex.
Objective: We conducted a 2-week randomized, sham-controlled, single-blind trial to determine whether high-frequency rTMS (HF-rTMS) over the contralesional motor cortex can improve motor function in severe stroke patients.
Background: Both 1 Hz repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and intermittent theta-burst stimulation (iTBS) are reported to benefit upper limb motor function rehabilitation in patients with stroke. However, the efficacy of combining 1 Hz rTMS and iTBS has not been adequately explored.
Objective: We aimed to compare the effects of 1 Hz rTMS and the combination of 1 Hz rTMS and iTBS on the upper limb motor function in the subacute phase post-stroke.
On the basis of the autologous tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) or genetically modified TILs for adoptive cell therapy have received more attention. First, the mercapto-modified capture DNA was immobilized on the surface of the FeO@Au magnetic nanoparticles via an Au-S bond, and the capture DNA was opened and complementarily hybridized with the target DNA to form a double-stranded DNA. In the 10 × reaction buffer, Exonuclease III (ExoIII) specifically recognized and sheared the double-stranded DNA to release the target DNA, which led to the next round of reaction.

The determination is carried out by recording the ECL emission of pyridine ruthenium (Ru(bpy)) complexes embedded into the assistance DNA (ADNA) loaded on the nanogold surface, after the hybridization reaction between the probe DNA (PDNA) and the remaining sequence of the CP's stem part, and the formation of a core-shell sun-like structure.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe canonical Wnt-β-catenin signaling pathway arrests the differentiation of T cells and plays an important role in phenotypic maintenance of naive T cells and stem cell-like memory T cells in human peripheral blood, but its effect on tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) from non-small cell lung cancer is little known. In this study, we showed that glycogen synthase kinase-3β inhibitor TWS119 has different effects on CD4 and CD8 T cells in TILs. TWS119 preserved the expansion of naive T cell and CD8 stem cell-like memory T cells, and induced CD8 effector T-cell proliferation in TILs.
