Objective: To summarize the evidence on the efficacy of aquatic therapy on motor and social skill as well as executive function compared with land-based exercises in children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Data Sources: The following 6 databases were searched: Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, PubMed, Embase, Scopus, Google scholar (advance), and Web of Science from 1990 to June 2022.

Study Selection: The search included only clinical trials.

This study aims at investigating the effects of two types of interventions, Sports, Play and Active Recreation for Kids (SPARK) and exergaming (Kinect), on motor skills (MS) and executive functions (EF) in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Sixty children, aged 6-10 years were randomly assigned to SPARK ( = 20), Kinect ( = 20), or a control group ( = 20). Children's MS and EF were assessed before and after the intervention.
