Accumulating vast amounts of pollutants drives modern civilization toward sustainable development. Construction waste is one of the prominent issues impeding progress toward net-zero. Pollutants must be utilized in constructing civil engineering structures for a green ecosystem.

Design: Case study.
Setting: II.
Objective: Acardiac twin occurs in 1:35,000 pregnancies. Several techniques have been described to treat this condition. Some techniques have been suggested as golden standard; however, new are still being tried.

Objectives: The authors present their first experience with a new operative method (within two years' period in 18 patients) solving pelvic prolapse in women by means of installation of polypropylene (Prolene) mesh implant.
Materials And Methods: The authors corrected various forms and stages of POP, particularly prolapse of the vaginal stump after hysterectomy, through the installation of Prolene mesh implants or the systems Prolift Anterior, Prolift Posterior and Prolift Total.
Results: Short-term results (follow-up 24 months) are promising.
Objectives: Intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) is associated with fetal adverse conditions. The most important cause of growth restriction and poor perinatal outcome is chronic fetal hypoxemia (CFH). Adaptation to CFH can be studied by Doppler velocity waveform on umbilical and fetal arteries and cardiotocography (CTG).

We also tried to evaluate the relationship between levels of lipid peroxides and some clinical characteristics of labour.
Design: Prospective study.
The authors examined some immunological indicators in a group of female patients with imminent premature delivery and compared them, using statistical methods, with findings in a control group. The objective was to find a possible predictive value of the investigated parameters for the diagnosis of subclinical intraamnial infection as the possible cause of so-called idiopathic premature delivery. In the immunoglobulin classes they did not find significant differences between the two groups.

The intensity of pain in women is evaluated before administration of dolsin and after its administration. The obtained data on the analgetic effect are compared with the total score of pain and individual components of pain by the paired t-test.
