Control of Infectious diseases such as; bacteria and viruses, has become a globally critical issue, since the appearance of COVID-19 virus in 2020. In addition to the microbial resistance of the currently available therapeutic drugs as well as, its prolonged side effects make its use is of health care concern. Green nanotechnology approach is a promising solution for controlling such infectious diseases and many biomedical purposes.

Different TiO nanocrystalline materials have been synthesized via the acid hydrolysis sol-gel method, followed by microwave hydrothermal treatment at 210 °C and 300 psi and at different microwave irradiation times (20, 30, 45, and 60 min) instead of the usual hydrothermal time of 12 h. The properties of the produced mesoporous nanocrystalline TiO are investigated in terms of their morphology, crystal structure, optical properties, and surface area behavior using relevant characterization techniques.

Blue-green nanoceramic pigments from Co(2+)-doped alumina-titania (xCo(2+)-Al(2)O(3)/TiO(2)) have been synthesized by alkoxide sol-gel route from a mixture of titania and boehmite sols that derived from titanium isopropoxide and aluminum nitrate precursors. The composition of the alumina/titania (AT) matrix is 3:1M ratio. A series of xCo(2+):3TiO(2):1Al(2)O(3) mixed oxides with different Co(2+)-dopant ion concentration has been prepared.

Sixty patients were randomly allocated into two groups to receive either general or epidural anesthesia which further subdivided into control and hepatic subgroups. Blood samples were collected preoperatively, immediate post-operatively and on third post-operative day to measure hemoglobin (Hb), platelet count (PLT),), prothrombin time (PT), partial thromboplastin time (PTT), and thrombin time (TT).

High light-to-energy conversion efficiency was achieved by applying novel TiO2 nanorod/nanoparticle (NR/NP) bilayer electrode in the N719 dye-sensitized solar cells. The short-circuit current density (J SC), the open-circuit voltage (V OC), the fill factor (FF), and the overall efficiency (η) were 14.45 mA/cm(2), 0.
