Objective: This study employed the social model of disability to illuminate negative and positive experiences of Israeli parents of children with disabilities during the first COVID-19 lockdown, as well as the way social environments, particularly educational and welfare services, shape that experience.
Following a rise in the life expectancy of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients, many adults with CF form couple relationships. Yet, dyadic coping has not been previously examined in people with CF. This study examined how adults with CF and their partners cope as a couple with the illness, and what meanings each partner and the couple as a unit attribute to the experience.

Background And Objective: In nonpregnant patients high insulin requirements are associated with hypoglycemia and weight gain but not with improvement in glucose control. The effect of insulin requirement on maternal and neonatal outcomes in gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is yet unknown.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of maternal and neonatal outcomes of pregnancy according to insulin requirements in women with GDM who were followed and delivered at the Yitzhak Shamir Medical Center between 2006 and 2016.
In the last decade, an increasing number of qualitative studies sought to investigate the dynamics of various dyads by conducting in-depth, multiple family member interviews. The emphasis in the methodological literature dealing with this type of research is primarily on the data collection process, and much less on the development of methods suitable for the analysis of the data thus derived, especially with regard to dyads consisting of family members belonging to different systems: families of origin or nuclear families. The purpose of this paper is to propose a model for dyadic analysis based on examining the dynamics of the evolving relationships between key caregivers of a family member with brain injury.

Background: Despite policies advocating the social inclusion of persons with disabilities in all settings that are a part of everyday life within society, individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) are usually excluded from service in the military.
Aims: This study examined the meaning of service in the military for individuals with ID from the perspective of various stakeholder groups.
Methods And Procedures: Semi-structured qualitative interviews were conducted with 31 individuals with ID, 36 relatives, and 28 commanders.
Photosystem I (PS I) mediates light-induced electron transfer from P700 through a chlorophyll a, a quinone and a [4Fe-4S] iron-sulfur cluster F(X), located on the core subunits PsaA/B to iron-sulfur clusters F(A/B) on subunit PsaC. Structure function relations in the native and in the mutant (psaB-C565S/D566E) of the cysteine ligand of F(X) cluster were studied by X-ray absorption spectroscopy (EXAFS) and transient spectroscopy. The structure of F(X) was determined in PS I lacking clusters F(A/B) by interruption of the psaC2 gene of PS I in the cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp PCC 6803.
