Preemptive analgesia after lumbar spine surgery by pregabalin and celecoxib: a prospective study.

Objective: To evaluate the preemptive analgesic effect of combination pregabalin with celecoxib for lumbar spine surgery.

Methods: A prospective, randomized study was conducted among 60 lumbar spine surgery patients and divided into two groups. Postoperative pain relief was achieved with intravenous patient-controlled analgesia with morphine.
